Job Title: Business Office Manager/HR
Progressive family business looking for an enthusiastic Business Office Manager with agriculture experience to join our team. Person should have strong written and verbal communication skills, high follow thru, be flexible and eager to learn.
A 4-year degree with a focus in accounting and/or 5+ years’ experience QuickBooks Enterprise, Excel and human resource management required. Strong technology skills in Microsoft Office, AgWorld, AirTable and coordination with remote IT Contractor for office support preferred. Responsible for overseeing Oregon CAT and Sales Tax reporting, in cooperation with sales team. Report creation for annual budgets, management team, accountant and internal audit needs.
HR responsibilities will include bi-weekly payroll and timeclock management, companywide hiring support, new onboard hiring oversight including seasonal and contract labor in support of all Managers. Processing of workman’s compensations claims and family medical leave administration. As part of the management team will have 2 direct reports and be able lead in a positive manner for the benefit of 30 team members that work in 3 locations.
Full-time position requires occasional domestic travel for industry training. The ideal candidate will appreciate cooperation that requires on site work at rural office, with beautiful views of Oregon agriculture.
