Ioka believes that community participation and involvement within the seed industry is important for advancement and growth. As future generations become farther removed from the farm, we strive to have a local presence by educating the public and sharing our story. We also understand the significance of lasting relationships and work to stay current on industry reports, news, markets, and developments in order to better serve our customers.

Honoring the past, Ioka is named from a Chinook Indian word meaning “a thing of loveliness” or “a cherished piece of land noted for its beauty, health, and fertility”.
